Lily LaRue is a burlesque dancer, pin-up model, and video artist that began her career mesmerizing audiences in Detroit in the spring of 2004. She has performed at the international erotic art exhibition, "The Dirty Show", with Hell's Belles Girlie Revue, Roxi Dlite's Cabart Theatre in Canada, and traveled to Chicago for Angela Eve's Twisted Tassel Burlesque Festival. Lily performs regularly with Detroit's olde-tymey vaudeville-style variety show, "Torch with a Twist". She has appeared on WDIV Channel 4's (Detroit's NBC affiliate) "I Am Detroit" promotion, and was featured with the rest of the cast of Torch with a Twist in "Torch Bearers" a cover story of the Metro Times, Detroit's weekly alternative newspaper.
Lily has a wide range of acts from classical fan dances, to modern rock and metal character shows. She is the creator and instructor of "The Art and History of the Burlesque Strip Tease", a seminar teaching women confidence and empowerment though learning about burlesque.
Lily continues to grow as the beautiful flower of Detroit, and hopes to take her act on the road.
